Work at Emi's Charm Bar

Boulder Shop Helper

$18/hour · Flexible, as-needed hours | Boulder

I'm looking for someone local to Boulder who can occasionally pop into the shop when I need an extra set of hands, especially on Saturdays.

You'll help welcome customers, run the register, help customers create their charm jewelry, assemble their pieces, and handle normal opening and closing tasks.

It's a pretty relaxed environment, and the shop can be quiet at times. When things are slow, you're welcome to bring a book, homework, laptop, or something else to work on.

This could be a good fit if you:

  • Live in or very close to Boulder
  • Are friendly, reliable, and comfortable talking to customers
  • Like cute things, jewelry, fashion, and creative projects
  • Can work independently when things are slow
  • Are willing to learn how to make the jewelry
  • Want something flexible and low-key

Jewelry experience is a plus, but definitely not required!

Denver Pop-Up Assistant

$21/hour · Saturdays | Denver

This one is a little more hands-on!

I run a weekly farmers market pop-up in Denver during the season, and I'm looking for someone who can help with the full pop-up experience.

The day starts around 7 AM for setup, the market runs 9 AM–2 PM, and then we pack everything up and head home. You'll help set up the Charm Bar, welcome customers, help them choose and create jewelry, run sales, keep everything organized throughout the market, and help pack everything up at the end.

You'll need reliable transportation to Denver. Travel time and transportation are not separately reimbursed, so the hourly rate is set with that in mind.

There may also be occasional additional pop-ups around Denver.

This could be a good fit if you:

  • Are reliable and comfortable with early mornings
  • Have reliable transportation to Denver
  • Love talking to people and making customers feel welcome
  • Are energetic and comfortable staying busy
  • Like jewelry, fashion, markets, and creative businesses
  • Can think on your feet and work independently
  • Don't mind lifting, setting up, and packing everything back down

Jewelry or retail experience is a plus, but I'll teach you everything you need to know!

Room to Grow <<<

If you really love the pop-up side of the business, there's an opportunity to grow into a Pop-Up Lead role.

A lead would eventually be responsible for independently running pop-ups, driving the inventory and setup to events, overseeing the setup and teardown, and potentially managing another team member.

Pop-Up Lead: approximately $28–$30/hour, depending on experience and responsibilities.

What I'm Looking For

More than anything, I want someone who is kind, genuine, dependable, personable, and fun to be around.

Emi's Charm Bar is a small business with a very personal, creative feel. I care much more about your personality and how you treat people than having a perfect resume or a long list of experience.

My business is also Christian-founded and rooted in Christian values, so you should be comfortable working in that kind of environment.

How to Apply ♡

Please don't send me a formal resume.

I'd much rather hear from you.

Send me an email at hey@shopemis.com and title the email "[Location + Postion] - [Your Name]" so for example "Denver Popup Assistant - Emi Zerr". Tell me a little about yourself, which position you're interested in, why you think you'd be a good fit, your general availability, and anything else you think I should know.

And please actually write it yourself! I want to hear your personality, not a perfectly polished AI-written application. Spelling mistakes and imperfect grammar are totally okay. I care way more about getting to know the real you. ♡

I can't wait to hear from you!!
